About the Author
Rona Munro is a Scottish playwright, screenwriter, and director. She is best known for her plays Iron, The James Plays, and The Violet Hour.
Munro's work has been translated into over 20 languages and has been performed all over the world. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play in 1995 for Iron.
Munro is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
